Anne-Marie Elbe is a Full Professor of Sport Psychology at the Faculty of Sport Science at Leipzig University, Germany.
Her previous posts were at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark; Northumbria University, Newcastle, UK; and the University of Potsdam, Germany.
Her publications and research interests focus on the motivational and self-regulatory aspects of athletic performance, talent development, anti-doping, the integrative role of sport, and the development of sport psychology scales.
Anne-Marie Elbe is currently on the editorial board of Psychology of Sport and Exercise and Science and Medicine in Football.
Anne-Marie Elbe has published over 100 peer-reviewed journal articles, nine monographs, and 22 book chapters.
She is the past President of FEPSAC, the European Federation of Sport Psychology, and a member of the Scientific Board of ECSS (European College of Sport Science). She leads the international two-year master‘s program in Sport and Exercise Psychology at Leipzig University.
